PROJECT PLANNING KIT

How to gather your thoughts and prepare visuals before meeting your architect.

MICHAEL BLAKEMORE ARCHITECTS was founded in Laguna Beach in 2000 and has since grown into a bi-coastal firm of talented designers and professionals who believe in creating inspirational projects. Through our designs, we strive to find the perfect balance between comfort, practicality and beauty. Our goal is not only to create stunning structures, but to improve the environments we inhabit.

When we take on a project here at MICHAEL BLAKEMORE ARCHITECTS we pour all of our creative and professional talents into it. We’re passionate about creating designs that will uplift and inspire the way you spend your time in your new custom-designed home. Take a look at some of our recent projects, including Lagunas oldest home restoration, a contemporary oceanfront and coastal orange counties first urban farm.

The firm was established to concentrate on the exciting residential design opportunities of this resort community. Laguna Beach overlooks the Pacific Ocean with dramatic hills rising above the beaches. Every project solution is unique and individual. The practice is divided into 3 design studios, traditional architecture, contemporary architecture, and historic restoration. MICHAEL BLAKEMORE ARCHITECTS has designed and completed over 50 homes in Laguna Beach with construction budgets of 1-4 million dollars. Growing geographically the firm is now designing custom homes in Northern California, Nevada, Utah and Georgia. International work includes custom homes in Cabo San Lucas, BCS Mexico and mainland Mexico.
